I couldnt follow that path. To me, proof of God is all around us. The laws/rules of science prove to me of the existance of a creator.

Sine you reject the God of the Bible as the creator, then who is the creator? A God who only reveals through nature?

oddly enough those very "laws/rules" caused me to call into question the existance of a creator, and i've drawn a different conclusion...but i love your post :)

So, now that you've figured out that everyone else's comments and thoughts on god in the last several thousand years are baseless, are you going to go about imagining that your ideas and comments on God are important and acurate?

I’d be a stupid man not to believe in God” was my answer

    Good point.....as always Sixer.

It's too bad that those who do believe, and those that aren't real sure if there is a God......have absolutely nothing to use as proof that one exists......only ideas, speculation, theory.

Why a God would makes us, then would make himself scarce, is beyond me.

Oh life, is bigger, is bigger than you and you are not me,
The lengths that I will go to, the distance in your eyes,
Oh no I've said too much, I set it up.

Thats me in the corner, that's me in the spotlight,
Losing my religion, trying to keep up with you,
And I don't know if I can do it, oh no I've said too much,
    I set it up.

    - REM, Losing My Religion.

Lol, pretty good song. Well, I don't know what to say. I've grown up a Christian and haven't had to face the tests you guys have needed to go through. In my opinion, these are 'tests' from God. I've always wondered how some people believe there is a God yet do not believe in the Bible. I mean, what makes up your book of rules, your conscience? Well, God bless you and I hope he gets you through this episode of your life.

Nature is only one part of Gods word. It is the part of Gods word that we can see, but is based on his laws. The laws of physics, chemistry, math, etc etc. IMO, this is how God has reveals himself to us.

are you going to go about imagining that your ideas and comments on God are important and acurate?

The proof I have that God exists, may not be proof to another. My ideas and comments on God are important to ME and ME alone. If someone asks me, I will tell them. I'm not going to go from Door-toDoor telling people to hug trees or anything.

    Congratulations!!!

Reading the bible in light of your recent discovery, would probably bring fresh meaning to you, and I say that for a particular reason:

I suspect that many of the characters in the bible were struggling to interpret the evidence of what they saw around them. In the warlike past, they drew their own conclusions as to what was the hand of God, and painted him with corresponding colours. They worked with what they had available, which may seem laughable to 21st Century humans, but for them was cutting edge.

LT of the "it's got nothing to do with religion but is all about Him" (IMHO) class.
