I always heard the old "...the bible is like a letter to you.." story. I remember in the WT once, there was mention of a woman who claimed to be one of the Annointed after being a JW for only a short time, and had to be disfellowshiped.
I never quite got it myself. I worked in FS with an annointed sister once. She seemed a bit thick.
The householder was making fun of her, (being very rude to this frail elderly lady)and she completely misunderstood and wrote the house number down as a possible back call.

Very interesting topic and especially the above. It is hard to describe the "knowing"communication of holy spirit to the anointed but they seem to know it, but there is this one "common experience" that they have as above, and that is the Bible changes!!! It suddenly becomes more direct and enligtening and you find things in it that seem to stand out to you. So that's one thing that is common among the anointed.
THE ACTUAL CURRENT SITUATION: But just to rebut the JW false teachings. I refer you to the parable of the "Vineyard Workers". This is about the anointed calling among the Witnesses. Note that beginning with the third-hour workers, they are not told what they would be paid. This applied to all the workers after that up until the 11th-hour workers. That means that only the 1st (and 2nd)-hour workers actually were expecting the complete days wage.
That days wage, the "penny" is the heavenly calling. But look what happened? In the end, beginning with the last to the first, ALL of them were given the penny. Thus this corrects the views the witnesses have about the anointed calling and addresses why there are "two classes" among the witnesses.
Revelation says that a "half hour" is 3.5 years and thus an hour is 7 years. Thus 11 hours of work during the "last generation" (1914-1994, 80 years) takes 77 years. But more significantly, the 3-hour workers, the first group that would be paid differently start to show up after 21 years. Add 21 to 1914 and you get...1935!!! The very year the "other sheep" class among witnesses became official.
But that means, of course, that the witnesses don't understand that though the "anointing" wouldn't be applied to the 1935-1991 workers, they still would get invited into the kingdom anyway at the last minute and this would surprise and a bit perturb the first-hour workers who "murmur" about it. This proves that the GB and the organization in general would be the "last to know" about the induction of thousands of the Other Sheep after 1991 into the anointed class!!! as the Bible provides.
Keep in mind that there is a two-step process. There is the anointing which is like the calling and then there is the "sealing". So basically, after Christ arrives he seals and anoints the post 1935 workers at the same time, whereas the 1914-1928 workers had an "anointing" they understood and considered themselves of the anointed, or heavenly class.
SOOOOOOO...just in case there are some lasts inductees, just in case you FEEL that you are getting a calling, you should ACCEPT. Christ "knocks" but you have to be awake to get up and open the door to let him in! That won't happen if you have the feeling but don't "believe" that you have the calling or you don't recognize the calling.
But even so, many who will end up in the heavenly class (which is more probably 10x144K; 1,440,000) will find out after Armageddon they are of the heavenly class.
This is confirmed by the parable where some are rewarded by Jesus who says come into the kingdom and they don't know why and he tells them "because I was sick you came to me, hungry, you fed me...etc". They say "when did we see you?.." So they don't know ahead of time. It's a surprise.
But then some others, unfortunately, about HALF the current anointed of the witnesses (5 out of 10 virgins) will miss the calling because of not keeping up with the Bible and following holy spirit and falling into worshipping the organization and falling asleep spiritually. These will expect to walk in, like the foolish virgins, and Christ will tell them to "get lost!"
So in the end, EVERYBODY is potentially invited, but everybody doesn't get chosen. You have to be spiritually "awake" and in tune to the scripture and be able to dismiss the WTS incorrect doctrines when you see the Bible says something different.
CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS AMONG ANOINTED: But right now, something new his happening with all the activity and secretive goings on with the anointed so we see more direct evidence of "holy spirit" interacting among the anointed, most of whom must operate in secret because of Satan's spyring organizations. Part of the demonstration of holy spirit is that each of the anointed gets to see the "sign of the son of man" in the clouds...the image of the Messiah in cloud-art form imagery which appears to them in fulfillment of scripture that "every eye would see him of the tribes of the earth", which is not everybody but the "tribes of the earth" are specifically a reference to the anointed.
Sooo....if holy spirit directs you to look up in the sky one day and you see the image of an infant's face along with a dove, which will be amazing and clear, then PROBABLY you are anointed.
GETTING INDUCTED INTO THE JIOR: Right now the anointed are being inducted into the "JIOR" which means "Jehovah Is Our Righteousness". Check Revelation and you'll see the woman who gives birth to the Messiah has "her place in the wilderness"....this means a secret cult Messianic organization is formed in connection with Christ and the secret anointed. So if you are of the anointed and you're not too "public" then holy spirit will induct you into the JIOR and all the "mysteries" involved with that. If you are of the "older brother" class, which is a public anointed person, then you won't know of the JIOR directly. JIOR members don't acknowledge their being anointed publicly unless they were already known to be anointed. Also, there is no need to partake of the emblems at the Memorial if you're hiding out in the organization since you'll believe Christ has already arrived and thus abolished the Memorial, right? ("Keep this UNTIL I ARRIVE? I arrived in 1914 (or after that)...why are you STILL partaking? DUHHHHHHHHH?!!!!!)

By the way, the nonbelievers are supposed to be confused by all this which is part of God's plan. Remember, spiritual things are baffling to the physical person and this appears as NONSENSE to them. But the spiritual person understands these things.
It's a great time for anointed kingdom members right now....a very great time!!!

I can tell you out right. Its a wonderful feeling, the sky opens up to you when God tells you that you have been chosen you will hear a sound of a deep horn coming from everywhere. And there will be right at the time of the horn the color of amber soaking everything around you. You will see Angles moving about all around you. And above all time will stop nothing will move during this performance when you see this all happening then you will know.
I know I seen this, I started drinking the wine and eating the bread they did not like me doing so but that is OK I drink of it and eat it at home.
