Saw this on the CarmForums and thought this is an interesting question....
What if the Governing body of the WTBTS ran the country instead of our present government?
Would we have our religious freedoms?
What about our other freedoms?
Thoughts anyone?

We'd have Afghanistan before the US took out the Taliban.
What if England ran the USA?

A theocracy in the USA? ohmigawd.
It'd be like the Taliban running Afghanistan. The American constitution would be ignored, because "we take our orders directly from Jehovah God".
But because of the WTBTS opposition to war, the country would quickly be run over by Canadian insurgents.
What if England ran the USA?

Imagine the MAGDALENE SISTERS on a nationwide modern-day level if ANY of these groups were allowed to govern and control unchecked....
No one would be allowed to salute the flag.
All women would have to wear head coverings.
Instead of military service, everyone would be required to enlist for field service.
All libraries would be stocked with Watchtower literature only. All outside "reference materials" could be viewed by government officials only, and would be stored at a vault in the Library of Congress.
Apostates would be brought before McCarthyistic kangaroo courts and tried for treason.
We would have a national dress code.
The nation's capital would be moved to Brooklyn.
Homosexuals would be imprisoned in special facilities for the demon-posessed.
No one may vote.
Free bloodless medical care for pioneers.
The border to Canada will be shut for fear of swarms of people seeking refugee status.
R-rated movies will be forbidden.
Underground porno shops and sex parties will be everywhere - just not spoken about.
Thanksgiving will be replaced by a holiday with no name where everyone eats turkey "because it's on sale".
Children mentioning remembrances of Christmases past will be severely punished.
NAMBLA will freely meet in Kingdom Halls because of the "two witnesses" law.
