Love camping,as long as I can have a shower,I'm good.
So nobody camps?
Well yes my dear we do, we just don't stay up at 1:30 a.m. to talk about it.
work at an RV dealer, so I get to rent them for free. It's my first trip in a motorhome! I am so excited. That is a sweet deal. Am I right to guess, that you can have the RV and take your vacation, only after the "official" summer season is over ? That is how it is here, with the RV dealer we do business with. Nine other families from my block are going so my little one is so excited!!!!!I sure hope you're not all in the same RV !!! It should be so much fun seeing the Hearst Castle and the San Simeon area. ..................Looks like a great area, and being a State Park, you will probably have all the ammenities. What do you enjoy most about camping and what "necessities" do you bring????? Vodka is first on my list! | ||
CJ and ourselves became avid RVrs, after we "lost our religion". We joined the church of "Latter Day Campers" We spend about 50 -60 days camping at different sites throughout NWO from the Victoria Day weekend in May, to our Thanksgiving Day weekend in October. Kids love it, and we always try to arrange our trips with other friends of ours, so there is always a group of us. We like to party, but we don't go around pissing on peoples tents ! LOL We started out with a tent, then we went up to a "pop up" (tent tralier). Now we have a 23' hard side trailer with flip out tent beds on the ends, (30ft when open) witha 4 piece bathroom. So you can say we aren't exactly roughing it. Our 2 youngest kids (11 and 13) prefer to setup in seperate tents, so we usually have the tralier to ourselves. heh, heh, heh. Vodka is first on my list! Don't forget the Clamato juice, Tobassco, Worcestershire, and celery salt to make Bloody Ceasars ! And a bottle of Irish cream, accentuates the "camp coffee". Here's some pics: Lakeside site in late spring... CJ and son last October... |

Have fun and show us pics when you return !
Like xjw said Sally, we do love to camp. But he forgot to add the case of coolers, bottles of rum, beer, red wine, white wine, etc. We have a well stocked trailer.
Have fun camping. That's my favourite place to be.

Well, we are loading up this morning...... And xjw, I am a manager so I can get them anytime of year, up to 5 days at a time. ............ Noidea, we don't have a hot tub, but I do have a shower inside and outside, a queen size bed and the living area slides out so there is tons of room. Its a 31' Motorhome. ........ Well, its time to get all my liquor organized. Always have to pack that last so I can find it first thing!! My little 2 year old just said she forgot her blow-dryer......LOL.
Sally be careful with the precious cargo (booze, I mean). Friends of ours who are fellow campers ended losing a bottle in transit, when their trailer hit a bump the bottle ended up falling out of the cabinet she had it in, it fell to the floor and broke, the carpet was soaked with the stuff. She was tempted to squeeze what she could out of the carpet and put it back in the bottle. Yuck just kidding.
We put our booze supply while in transit, in the bath tub, very safe there.
Have a great time.
