I was so happy that NBC scheduled Medium for Wednesday night starting 11/15 only to find out they had schedule some crappy game show for 7 pm on Friday night, bumping out Crossing Jordan, which is now up in the air. At least there is a crossover episode with Las Vegas 11/10.

In a Sunday, December 17, 2006, Holiday Worship Guide of the Capital Times newspaper an article appeared called "Has Christmas been hijacked?" Notice the comment by the JW contingency.

Of course, not all Christian dominations celebrate Christmas. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the holiday actually has pagan roots and is historically inaccurate.
"Because of the connection that Christmas has with false religion, those who truly wish to please God avoid celebration as well as other pagan-rooted holidays," says Duane Reed, a congregatoin elder in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Buckeye Road. Jehovah's Witnesses' "ultimate goal is to avoid contamination of their precious relationship with the Most High God, whom they solemnly serve, Jehovah."
