HAVE YOU WRITTEN A WILL?

I ask this because recently Physio and I decided to leave everything to our two boys - which meant cutting out our girls completely.

Why? Well, we realised that if we both died (e.g. car accident) all four children would be entitled to our estate. However, knowing the girls, their being JWs, they would undoubtedly donate some of their inheritance to Watchtower. We couldn't stomach the thought of this occurring and so took the action we did.

Should the girls ever see sense and leave the Borg then, obviously, we can change things.

Just thought I'd share in case others haven't thought of the consequences of not writing a will.

If you have children who are still minors, and JW family, it is also worth considering what would happen to your children should the worst happen to both parents. Would you want JW grandparents to have legal guardianship of your children?

Another issue you can specify in your will.

Once CJ and I had made the decision not to go back, we adjusted the will with regards to custody of the 2 minors. The thought of them being raised as jws, still gives me nightmares.

And of course there was that little matter of property, assets, and life insurance policies, that I had left bequeathed to the local congregation.

I don't have any children, and I really don't care to acknowledge relatives who haven't had much to do with me for the last 20 years. I've been thinking of writing a will, but I haven't found a satisfactory beneficiary yet.

I have a will, my kids are taken care of...I'm worth more dead than alive.

I told my parents to spend all their money and not to worry about leaving some for us kids.

Tink, I'm a size 4. Got anything good? What size shoe do you wear? My size is a 6 1/2 to 7.

Yes, I have had a will for years. Time to change it now that the divorce is final. Thanks for the reminder.
