I'm glad you brought up the blood issue.
Its hard to believe that people in this day and and age let themselves die because someone told them that blood has sacred religious significance or that a supernatural god would like to see people die to reconfirm their worship to him/god.

Her brother is only 7 months older and he weighed 2 lbs 5 ounces. Mom and dad got pregnant before he even left the NICU. So we spent almost an entire year between the two kids in the NICU. They are both doing fine today. I have them or they have me 5 days a week, it just depends on who is in control. They are an absolute joy. So happy I could retire and be here for them.

Congrats to you and the wifey, and although the beginning may be a struggle, congrats to Izabella because she gets to have two parents that love her like crazy and already show their willingness to do whatever they can for her. My first was a preemie, but not so early as yours. Liz was 32 weeks. So I understand the tension and worry. I pray she thrives. What a beautiful baby.

My wife and I left the so called 'truth in the mid 1960's over the blood ban and Armageddon both of which make the JW religion a death cult.
There was no way I was going to deny my child and or wife of a life saving transfusion. No way would I or my wife be coerced to withhold permission for a BT....... we didn't even care if it wasn't a life saving transfusion........... just a get better quicker transfusion.
The god of the OT caused a great flood because of the wickedness in the world. Someone would have to explain to me how a drowned unborn baby was wicked or a toddler.
Your doing the right thing by your baby. You and your wife are protecting your child from one more reckless belief of the WT and the JW's.
