    ((((pussy cat))))

Closest thing to a catty welcome I could come up with. One has to be careful around here saying too many nice things to the lady lurkers! The "old woman" gets all upty when she isn't the center of attention1

We love her any way even if her "high horse" is an old plowing nag!

What funny is, we never miss the meetings and the 'friends'. We never felt so free to do our own thing and projects we have neglected around the house and yard. Our eyes are also opened to the fact that the worldlings around us are actually better than the loving brotherhood in the organization. We now view our workmates, neighbors etc., without prejudice and without judgement. It felt so great. I can now see the good in everyone.

these are the most beatiful words spoken- as Ray mentioned in his book for the first time he could, i could and now you can actually deal with folks as folks not as

Greetings Calico from one of the resident "worldly" people. Yep, some of us can be really kewl. I used to take offense to the title, now it amuses me, yeah, little ole me, a worldly person. Not.

Welcome to the board, I love calicos. I have two cats, one very aloof gray one (who graces us with his presence) and a calico--the loving, bratty, get-into-anything-I-can, did-I-do-that? household entertainer.

    Calico,
I will send you a private email. I was praying about you this weekend.

Calico, welcome to the board. Don't worry about the "spring thang" as Waiting says. Communing with nature can be a good thing...really.

Interesting that many active JWs come here. I hope that they might be able to learn some of the truth about the "truth". We'll welcome them whenever they feel brave enough to join us.

I have seven cats, myself--three of them former ferals. It seems that whenever one of my elderly cats takes the trek to The Rainbow Bridge, a little "Vacancy" sign goes out and another hungry, homeless feline shows up on my doorstep.

    CC,

So glad to make your acquaintance. Several things in your story were my experience also. First, the coldness of the congregation when you're active.

Second, was the freedom to see the good in all people and not be justifying calling them 'wicked' in your mind.

Lotsa luck in your quest for a new life!

Hi Calico. I have two cats and love them both. Maybe I'll get a Calico someday, who knows. And yes, the hurt and anguish will pass. But the anger probably won't. That is why so many of us are here. We know that smart and questioning JW's visit this sites. Personal experiences and sound research on JW doctrine can help them decide what the GB is really doing and why. So many have seen the pure power play of the Boys in Brooklyn as just another misguided attempt to control peoples lives for their own ends and have left. Nothing new under the sun, eh! Good Luck.

Jackson - of the left as quick as I could class.
