Why Lady "C" and JT have no Kids- WT Style

    Yeah, I'll vouch for it too. Everytime my mom hears about anyone who is expecting a baby, she says "Oh no!" and pulls this long sad face. She even does it if the couple wanted and was trying to have children. She would probably do it if I had a child too. Having children, evidently, is bad. It's a good thing she had hers before she was baptized, huh?

    I think it's great to have kids when you're older, especially coming from a screwed up dub background. I work w/ kids all the time, & just had my first one at 33, plan on at least a couple more. Their great! Here's a pic of me and my fifteen month old, but it was taken several mo. ago. It's also great to know that they are'nt gonna have to go through the BS that we all did growing up.

    Hey they had me so screwed up I didn't get married waiting on the system to end. Now that I'm "normal" it may be too late.

    This is another one of those issues I can't talk to my JW siblings about. Two of them have elected not to "bring children into this system", even while they dote on my son. I see it in their eyes, the wonder, the indecision, the yearning. They would deny to their death that the society ever "recommended" that they not have children, they would say it was their own decision.

    excellent point, i too know of so many couples who love kid and yes you can see it in their eyes and yes they would DENY DENY they were ever told it is not a good time to have kids since the end is so close

    They all married losars of men with bad (or no) jobs, but they were bethelites..

    wt teaches it women to marry losers in the eyes of a jw female a mans hours in service are more important than his job-

    Lady C laughs that she would have brushed me off if it had not been due to her wt training, when she met me i was pulling down $90.00 a month, HOW IN THE HELL CAN I CARE FOR A WIFE

    yet the wt system teaches females that a bethelite is prized as a husband , as if we are leaving Yale with a MBA or Law degree

    the warped value system that wt instills in us is so sad, and it really hurts women,

    just think if you leave the fool he ain't got nothing you can even take him to court to get except that broken down FORD FAIRLANE

    YOU would think that would be the case,

    yet i was told point blank by a jw who had went to college back in 80-84, now an engineer- we read too much into the articles THEY WERE ONLY SUGGESTIONS

    Soooo there's a waiting list. Some years ago I heard that the society was getting worried because not many were interested in the circuit work and the current CO's were getting old and nobody to replace them.... I guess it's not as bad as I heard

    o yea and it is a long list of couples who have already been approved or TRYING TO convince the CO to send in an application for them

    i mean i knows lots of Pioneer Couples just waiting-

    my old roomates works in the Service Dept and they go so many lazy guys who want to get on the new car list-

    Right here in DC i know of 6 former bethel couples who are begging the CO to send in an application for them and they have been pioneering since we all left bethel back in 88, 89

    I now have grandchildren and I will never say it or think it.

    Too bad we just can't be Christians without stupid dates.
