Why do people care so much about celebrities?
They believe they had some relative relationship with these people, when in reality they didn't.
Most of the time these people were endeavored to take money from them by drawing attention to themselves by making alluring provocative inspired music .
There are a lot more professional musicians that should have the public's respect for their expressive work than what Prince ever put out. ie. Carol King, James Taylor, Paul McCartney, John Lennon. etc.
