FYI unclebruce, I do NOT agree with what is being posted over at H2O by people such as SJ, Kes, or J92. So why would I want them to start posting over here? You have me 'pegged' all wrong. I started my own forum to save bandwidth at the old h2o, because SJ refused to take her complaints to email as she was requested to do. I do let SJ post her complaints and whatever else she wants to on that forum, but that does not mean that I agree with what she posts, because I don't. I have had many disagreements with her on my board. I have deleted them in time to save space because Boardhost only allows for 300 posts on the board and I do not know how to archive them.

I do realise all that stuff NL2 (I was there remmember) When I said "send 'your never been a JW fundy crappers' over here" I was speaking in the present tense. SJ is excluded from this on several grounds - she's currently banned from H20 and her and J92 are exceptional Watchtower cult fighters with extensive experience in the JW world. Much of the current vulture flock at H20 never were JWs.

In many ways you've been an assett NL2 but ... well you know... (note: I lost the link to your board so can't even read it)

Just to make it clear, I do not agree 100 percent with anyone of the so called fundies posting at h20, now OR in the past. Only on rare occasions have I posted my personal beliefs on line as part of any discussion. And the subject was usually the Trinity.

Even if it's true? If you would do that NL2, you are no better than Rick when it comes to squelching pesky facts.

Rick recently made a comment to effect that H20 is now BETTER since the riff-raff is gone. I'm certain he includes me in that lot. I guess it depends upon how one defines "better."

Without lively debate and a broad freedom of expression, things just don't get done. Had Rick been more consistent H20 would not be in its current condition. I kinda feel sorry for the guy.

To Simon: I sincerely suggest you call your "assistants" by the name "Nazi-rators!" I MEAN it! It would be a great tongue-in-cheek thing to do. That's what many of us called renegade H20 moderators, and we nearly always got deleted for doing it! So let's make that name the OFFICIAL title here! Let's keep it fun!

Farkel, that's what I meant about Rick denying reality. H2O is not better unless you think the absence of real conversation is better. Maybe he's just glad the pyrotechnics have ended, and all that's left is Joshua92 lecturing the sparse crowd with only the sound of crickets breaking the silence of his pauses.

It is sad about H2o but inevitable considering the work that they are trying to do. They want to attract JWs as part of their users and also want to be on search engines around the world. A heavier hand in the moderation it seems is required for this even though recent moderation form without comment was over the top and not appropriate even according to H2o admin.
H2o now will always be a smaller (albeit older) sister to this site because of what they are trying to do and as people some to H20 and find out about this site then many will no doubt gravitate here.
This site, as far as I can see, is just about at it's limit in terms of the number of people and size and speed that can be happily tolerated. H2o as it is and into the future will be slower and more people friendly in that respect, but H2o will need an influx of visitors to keep the site viable.
I'm sure that there are some here (even among the professed H20 haters) who would be happy also on H2o with better software facilities.
Considering that the 2 sites are sisters, even if they have differing functions, friendship between the sites and posters, and a cross fertilisation is inevitable and should be encouraged.
This seems to be a good way of producing and maintaining a healthy micro environment of JW discussion sites that suit the needs of all.
The new site is meant to be user friendly to all types of posters in it's various forums and the moderation on the main forum is meant to be at a minimum.

My affection for H2O remains, which is why I didn't post this thread over there instead. I didn't want it to appear I was taunting them or anything. I wish H2O the best.

I miss the original H2O. That was the best. Threads clearly visible so you could ignore You Know or Fred. Now it's slow and the old the people who made the old board interesting are here. Sad! But time marches on. We go where the info is better.
