Funny as it is when I attended my mother's funeral at a Kingdom Hall, people thought I was DFed and gave me the cold shoulder pass. I was never baptized or DFed.
A friend that I grew up with was DFed at the time and he certainly was not talked to. I kind of felt sorry for him he was really not that bad of a guy. .
I really thought this was going to be a story of someone getting dfd at a funeral.
As some have noted already funerals are like mini memorials. Let's show how loving we can be. Some do it right. Not many though. It's very transparent.
I have experience a couple of funerals where a d/f family member was present
1) She was kept at the back and ignored
2) She was part of the family group, sat with everyone and mingled at the small reception afterwards
I guess it depends on those involved,technically there is no allowance but .......
