  Let us consider some examples of fake love. When Satan talked to Eve in the garden of Eden, what he said made it seem that he wanted the best for her. But his actions showed that he did not. (Genesis 3:4, 5) When David was king, he had a friend named Ahithophel. But Ahithophel betrayed David to benefit himself. His actions showed that he was not a true friend. (2 Samuel 15:31) Today, apostates and others who create divisions in the congregation use “smooth talk and flattering speech.” (Romans 16:17, 18) They may pretend to care about others, but in reality, they are selfish.

  Satan showed fake love for eve, where did they get that from ?

  He was just asking eve a question, where does love come into this ?

  Also the apostate comment is ridiculous !!

  17 Confess and stop secret sins. Some Christians who have committed a serious sin have tried to keep it secret. Perhaps they are embarrassed or do not want to disappoint others. (Proverbs 28:13) But hiding the sin is unloving because it harms both the sinner and others. How? Jehovah might stop blessing the congregation with his holy spirit, and the congregation would not have peace. (Ephesians 4:30) So if a Christian commits a serious sin, genuine love will motivate him to speak to the elders and get the help he needs.​—James 5:14, 15.

  Okay so how many congregations have had secret pedophiles in positions of authority who carried on their sick practices for years and years in secret, did Jehovah stop blessing the congregations with his Holy Spirit then ?
  Hundreds of congs have had this type of thing going on along with other secret goings on and yet nothing happens, nothing is revealed it just shows what a load of bullcrap this is !!

  Yeah, they are really full of it wanting people to confess "hidden sins" because of it supposedly hindering Holy Spirit.

  Their hidden problem of pedophilia would be enough to wipe out any "Holy Spirit" throughout the whole religion if this logic was true!

  First of all this simplified version was a good idea until they decided there would be only the simplified version. The articles, which were becoming even more empty of logic, sentiment and reasoning with the years had a drastic fall with this change. The reasons seem to be clearly because they need people of this level of intelectual demand and reasoning to keep the religion. These poor articles don't attract the attention of well educated people at all and this way the criticism will be fewer. (actually this is a great enterpenour move. Not so good from the 'God's channell). The other reason may be that they are lacking good writers as they had back in 60s 70s (people that I only know by name because of RF book) and the current writers have no skills or the GB just got lazier.

  It's interesting that this has created such a paranoic enviromental among the JWs here. Every time something goes bad (low assistance to the meetings, low rate of biblic studies or hours in the field, plenty of fights among brothers or sisters) they start to think "who is the motherf*cker who is sinning this time?". Ironically they have this idea even if the problem is sucessive disfellowshippings, something that according to them should please God since they are "cleanning the congregation".

  By their own admission, Jehovah has stopped blessing them then in pretty much the entire western world since the growth is zero in those countries, and they have admitted that expenditure is exceeding income.

  Jehovah is now only blessing them in poor countries with low education and low internet access. Funny coincidence that.

  So using their intuitive and inspired rationalization read _"beamed down knowledge to the GB" on this matter there must have been a heck of a lot of sinners with hidden bones in secret cupboards since congs are shutting down faster than the GB can take a piss!
