min, don't you think the more stringent steps being taken against the Catholic Church might mean more stringent steps against WTS? I do.

Not to hijack, but I thought this was a brilliant point. It's such a simple way to explain to JWs who do not want to admit to the Organization's failure in this matter. Being tolerant to child abuse is a terrible sin. The worst thing anyone can do, besides actually inflicting harm on an innocent child, is to stand by silently and tolerate it. It really truely makes me ill. And what a brilliant question to pose. Just HOW exactly do they excuse TOLERATING child abuse.........
Thanks for the report, Steve.
It's great that Ed Bell is wanting to take calls from victims of the WTBTS. Also, other lawyers (Concerned Lawyer, etc.) who've shown an interest in helping us - and stopping the WTBTS. Thanks to all!
Congratulations to all involved for getting THIS far.............will be anxiously awaiting 30 days from now. Too bad we won't know the outcome before coming to see Steve!
The WTBTS will be seen for what it is - a destructive cult which hurts people - perhaps this time!
I hope Barb & Joe sleep easier knowing that they have lawyers capable of stumping the WTBTS - or at least making them shut up.
Congratulations to the Lawyers (for Andersons) & the legal minds which make up their teams!
waiting - impatiently for news
The only good thing about the Catholic pedophile crisis, is that, like Blondie, I believe this will lead to more legal requirements for all churches, including the WTS. I believe they will start requiring people to report known child abusers. I don't know how they will handle penitents, but if victims come forward, I think they will require they help/advice the victims to go to the police.
Blondie, it always comes to----What law did they break? Do they have a right to do what they do under the present laws of the land?
Oh god I do so hope and pray this is the beginning of the end --
During the hearing for the first time ever the Watchtower attorneys were stumped,
Maybe the judge asked the attorney how to calculate the "seven times" leading up to 1914 and the attorney forgot that there is no zero year.

Steve ... if you could pass on that if he ever needs a banner ad on this site to perhaps find people with info or those interested in persuing a case then I'd be happy to oblige (I don't charge for the banner ads as I consider them an information service).

BTW: I hope you'll tell us what the question was at the 'Fest
Hello Sphere,
If you don't hear soon - call back!
As a lot of people know (particularily paralegals) - paralegals do a LOT of the background work. The more they're educated in the evil ways of the WTBTS cult, the more they can understand the people calling them.
The more books on the WTBTS that lawyers can have in their library - well, they're armed with the smoking gun for court.
