    Hi Berylblue,

    You asked:

?How did you send him a gift through Paypal??

I sent it to [email protected] . If you go to paypal they give the complete instructions.

    Hi Berylblue,

Probably the easiest way is to go to Paypal, where they give instructions.

An email address is needed so I mentioned that I used Ray's business email.

I believe he has no private email, or if he has I know it not.

I have to thank scholar for some of the heartiest laughs I have had in years. After reading this thread, I looked at his post history.

OMG. I think I just hurt my pancreas - no that's on the other side, it was my transverse colon.

He actually used the word "brilliant" to describe a chronology of the WTS. As if a chronology could be brilliant! Look, it's right, or it's not. We're not talking about a fricking novel, we're talking about a hsitorical timeline - shouldn't require brilliance, and obviously didn't.

Are y'all sure this isn't just a troll?

If it's not a troll, it's a huge ego masqerading as a humble servant of the Lord. And since he comes here to serve his ego and feel as if he's defending the Truth, even though he's been directed not to by the WTS, that makes it even more entertaining.

    yesidid,

If it is any consolation to you, I've already branded "scholar" as a liar, and a braindead idiot. I did this months ago. I can smell shit when shit is smelling.

I could have saved a lot of syllables and just called him a "dub." That would have conveyed the same message.

Glad to see he "helped" you out so much. It's funny how hatred and vindictiveness and arrogance backfires on those who rely on it for all their messages, huh?

No, I am not a coward. I have referred to Jonsson's books on many occasions on this board. This is evidence that I have publicly mentioned these writings and have not sought to hide this fact. You ask for lists of names of authorities who disagree with Jonsson. The most contentious issue for the Jonsson hypothesis is the seventy years and the names of scholars who have different opinions are easily obtained in the literature. When you ask this type of question only hihjlights your ignorance of chronology.

    Scholar,

No, I did not ask what you suggest that I asked, so please do not insult the readers intelligence by suggesting so. My question was specifically regarding the date of Jerusalem's fall not interpretations regarding the 'seventy weeks' which I am well aware that most religionists, especially of the Adventist bent, have had a shot at understanding at some point. Reread what I wrote and do so carefully this time. I will repeat it for you

Unmitigated nonsense. Please provide evidence for your ridiculous claim. Please list on this Board scholars, historians, chronologists who do not share the conclusion of Carl Jonsson?s collation, that is that the conventionally accepted date for the first fall of Jerusalem is not the correct one

Now, stop trying to wriggle out of this question. Please provide a list of scholars, chronologists and historians who dispute Jonsson's collation , that is that the conventionally accepted date for the first fall of Jerusalem is not the correct one. My request for a listing from you is clearly NOT about the 'seventy weeks' but about the dating of the first fall of Jerusalem.

When you ask this type of question only hihjlights your ignorance of chronology.

As I have proved above, I believe it is your good self that is displaying either deliberate ignorance or compromised reading skills in this matter.

    Best regards - HS

You request a list of scholars who do not accept the conventionally accepted date for the first Fall of Jerusalem. For starters, I submit two scholars: Neil Mc Fadzen and Rolf Furuli. However, there is a big problem with your question: Which date are we talking about? 586 or 587? Because there is no unanimity of opinion amongst chronologists, historians and biblical scholars regarding this problematic date/
