    Anybody want to guess?

For some years the Office for National Statistics tried to hide the answer by counting different spellings as different names.

It no longer matters. All the variations are now topping the lists.

    The winner is....

    Muhammed.

Just like the ONS tried to hide the popularity of the name Sophie http://visual.ons.gov.uk/the-popularity-of-the-name-muhammadmohammedmohammad/

There's a fascinating tool on the ONS website that lets you track the popularity of boys & girls names over the last century. "Harry" for example , pretty much died out in 1955 only to reappear in the last few years.

Western Europe is lost. They have let the liberal assbags run things right in the ground. You can no more make peace with a Muslim than you can with a rabid dog. Look at Dearborn Mi. it was once a great jewel of Michigan. Now its a shit hole where you feel like your in Tehran than the USA. This is what the liberals bring us. Merkel is letting in over a million potential terrorists. France elected a pussy who sees no problem with Islam, and England once a strong nation now can not find a ball. As snowflakes seek safe spaces where they do not have to hear things they do not like they want to let in the very people who would cut their dumb ass heads off. Fucking idiots. England and Germany, France and Belgium get exactly what they asked for. They made their bed lay in it you fucks. Poland has very low to no terrorism but this is because the don't let in Muslims.

    Obfuscation Scotsman.

All three variations of Mo are transliterations of the same Arabic name and are pronounced identically. This does not apply to other examples such as Sophie/Sophia and Ollie/Oliver.

Just to be clear I disagree just as much with Dogon's ravings as I do with those he rants against.

This is the problem with discussing mass immigration. For too many people it is all or nothing/black and white.

    Real life is more nuanced.

Not all Muslims are the enemy.

The National Registers of Scotland is party to the same conspiracy saying Muhammed was the 50th popular boys name in 2016 when, all forms combined including hyphenated, it was the 5th most popular name.

My own forename has 3 different spellings, all pronounced identically, and yet they have counted them the same way as Muhammed/Mohammed.

    Shocked I tell you, shocked.

It appears to me that much of the wave of immigration can be traced back to the Syrian civil war and the West's inability/refusal to really deal with an obvious crisis. I understand how war weary the US and others are, but if there were ever a reason to go to war, it seems to me that Assad's regime deserves to be ended.

Years later, now that Russia has taken a side, there is no real hope for those people and the mass immigration will continue, no doubt fueling nationalistic sentiments.

How does western civilization claim the moral high ground, while ignoring suffering at the hands of a dictator, then turn around and deny these people refuge?

Some of it can, but not all.

Islam has been trying to invade and take over Europe and the rest of the world for the last 1,400 years.

Syria is an excuse for a quick increase, the sort of thing that many take advantage of.

Not all who come are fleeing, some are advancing and invading. Many don't even come from Syria but use it as cover.

The popularity of people being named after the prophet is a measure of the fanaticism of the people who are arriving.

BTW: How do those on the left handle this inconvenient snippet from Comey, now back on their "we love that guy" list.

15% of terrorists came to US as refugees

Think about that. The US ... which has taken in a trivial number of refugees and supposedly vetted them better than anyone has. Yet still had 15% of them, or 300, come to cause harm. Those just being the ones who have been discovered and caught - the actual ratio could be much higher.

How many terrorists have the European countries let in?

How many cultural terrorists have they let in as well?

This isn't about "not appearing racist". It's OK to object to genocide of your own race and culture. It's OK to believe that our culture is better than theirs and we have higher standards because ... breaking news (as CNN would say) ... it's the truth.

Also worth asking: is Comey's statement that should be the hottest of hot news as it combines Comey + Trump + Muslim ban, being reported by the mainstream media ... why not?

Europe is in no way responsible for the Syrian civil war.

Syrian refugees make up a fraction of European immigration. Of course many young men from Eritrea destroyed their ID documents and claimed to be Syrian children.
