OMG!!!! There is a mouse in here....it is so cute but I screamed nevertheless when I saw it. I am sitting here in terror like the little thing is going to be able to hurt me.

I had come down to get some tea and, of course, I needed an immediate fix of my favorite substance (JWD - isn't that pathetic?) Then I heard this plastic bag crinkling. So, thanks to my WT days, I'm thinking (mostly in jest), "This bag is demonized."

It is in a Home Depot bag which was in the garage; I guess Tim brought in in last night and the poor little thing had been hanging out in it.

WHY do many women react with horror when they see a mouse? My daughters had mice as pets.....

    I don't get it.

I don't want to wake Tim up to do something about it, either. I am going to have to carry the bag outside....

    Ugh.

Can't do it. What if it jumps out of the bag and onto my face or something?

Yup, I noticed that when the weather got a bit cold, something went darting out from the corner of my apartment.

The birds, screeched, as they get nervous with things like that. Obviously, the mouse will either try to get into their cages, or eat the spilled seeds from their little bowls.

I have some sticky traps down, and on Wednesday morning, I hear scraping sounds, right beside me.....a mouse had got caught in the trap. But when I tried to get him, he escaped. Little bugger.

Be glad it was only a mouse: not a rat.

If there was a rat in my apartment: I'D BE OUTTA HERE!

Get a cat. I'm sure the great felines can help you out here. Could get messy though. Poor mouse.

Oh...if the mouse is in the bag, just grab it by the top.

Carry it outside, and drop it out on the lawn...trust me, he/she wants outta there a.s.a.p. - he'll run away from you...guaranteed. Mice don't want to hang out with humans, but they do like similar things.

The mouse won't jump at you. If it's in the bag, then just make sure you've got the ends twisted (like when you are going to tie it and take it out) and then take it outside. Throw it on the lawn or wherever, and then run back in, shut the door.

I'm sure the mouse will not knock and ask to be let back in.

My father has my cat. We had mice in the fall when I lived in Pine Hill; once we got Serendipity, we never saw one again. They never ventured in.

But to get it outside, I will have to open the garage door which is one of those noisy electronic deals and then I will wake Tim up...

    He really is very cute.

Who is? Tim or the mouse?

Tip the bag into a box or something and leave him there until you can let him out - at least then you know where he is and he won't be running around the house (Simon we need a mouse smile !)
