So, thanks to my WT days, I'm thinking (mostly in jest), "This bag is demonized." ROTLMAO. My God , did you think everything that went bump in the night was a deemon ?

Eeeew. I feel your pain. I was outside smoking a cigarette last night (sorry, you can't DF me, I'm not a dub!) and I saw a tiny mouse about three inches long run out of the bushes outside my house. I hate freaking mice!!!!! I just about had a heart attack! Now I have been obsessing all day.... I'm sure there is a nest of them!

Absolutely not. I always rolled my eyes at the "demonized" crap. Esp the demonized handbag that a sister got at a yard sale which allegedly told her not to go out in service every time she opened it.

Oh, Berry blue. The urban legends... I love them! The witness ones are the worst!

We've got 4 pet rats, and they cute but if I saw a real rat I woud freak out.

To catch the mouse (also works for escaped hamsters) get a big-ish bucket with food (I heard they really like chocolate) at the bottom and ladder (from a pet shop or use an old freezer shelf type thing) leading into it - the mouse will (hopefully) be stuck in the bucket and you can evict it.

When it's gone search for ways it might have got in - if you can fit or nearly-fit even your pinky finger into a hole, fill it.

We've got 4 cats so we haven't ever had a mouse get inside - they haven't brought a mouse (alive or dead) home in over a year, so it'd be a good deterrent. In fact the last mouse I saw was last summer... well the bottom half of one - evidently it hadn't got out of the way fast enough when the grass was being cut... *eeeew*

Last night, we had a bat in the house... I was watching a movie (Holes), and heard some fluttering, my dog heard it too, so we looked for the source of the noise... We found it hanging upside down from the corner of the upstairs bathroom door frame, cute little thing with big brown eyes, furry brown body and black leathery wings.... That's the second time we have to capture a bat and set it free.

Mice, hundreds of them around our place. I mostly find them in the root cellar or in the grain bins (I have chickens and a rabbit). I usually scoop them up in a big plastic jar and put the lid on and then go out and release them away from the house. Once I sprayed one with a pink hair spray, just to see if it would come back to the house.

What about toads and garter snakes ? I love toads, they're all over the garden, as are the snakes, just love them...
