Hey Bridgette, glad you're feeling good. I've long maintained that happiness is often a choice, or a sum of choices. "Just fu****g let it go" is an essential mantra for happiness. Your post seemed to be all about letting things go.

Sitting too long in front of a computer screen, interacting with people who aren't quite real is a recipe for depression, if nothing else the simple lack of movement will eventually kill you, and it will be a slow, unecessarily angst ridden death. You may find that not being here as too much is symbiotic with your degree of happiness.

    Six,

Boy, you have been on a roll with your excellent posts this week Six!

This statement should be printed out in 78 point font and stuck above desks all over XJW land ( including my own ).

    Good one - HS

Dearest TJ, my bestest friend (he of the touchy feelings),

An "improving husband" means one who is slowly starting to realize that a wife who does 90% of the housework, 90% of the childcare, 90% of the bill paying (by that I mean writing the checks and mailing the bills), and 90% of the planning for any date time, will eventually start to feel 90% resentment towards her non involved partner.

And, you know if women weren't around to help ya'll improve, you'd be sittin' on your butts, drinking too much beer, and watching sports all day. You need us to bring out the best in you.

But, I'll give you a buzz, and we can talk in depth. I don't need to be puttin' all my bidness in the street, hear?

Happyout (now, let's all go back to feeling happy about Bridget)

SP, good for you; good luck with your choices. I love that poem too; Robert Frost is my mum's favourite poet.

I'm doing well too; happy about my baby on the way and enjoying the time my son has left as an only child. Hubby is good; work has calmed down; friends are good. It's good to be me.

Blah, blah, blah; whine, whine, whine. Whatever.

And, you know if women weren't around to help ya'll improve, you'd be sittin' on your butts, drinking too much beer, and watching sports all day.

And what?s the problem with that!?

See... that?s the problem with y?all. It takes a woman bent on ?improving? her man to mess up a perfectly good afternoon of beer, chips, and football. LEAVE THE MAN ALONE, I say. Leave... the man... alone. He ain?t botherin? nobody!

Bridget, I know I don't have to tell you, cause I'm sure you got my telekinetic message , but I'm very happy for you! You're one of those people that always manages to both inspire me and crack me up at the same time. I wish I had been as together as you are at your age. I'm proud of you!
