I have a 14 year old granddaughter who looks adorable in them, and she is very tall and thin. Rachel (Princess) looks really good in them because I doubt she has an ounce of extra fat anywhere on her body, and she is modest about it too.

I saw a young woman wearing them with a crop top during the summer. She was about 30 pounds overweight, with rolls all over the place. I wondered "what is she thinking? Does she think that looks good, just because it's in style?" Really, not all styles are for everyone.

Having recently been married, I am now officially a "dirty old man" and I say, big or small, wear 'em all!

It's trouble, sometimes... yesss, the kinda trouble I'm GOOD at!!!

Way, way, way back in 1971 when I was 12, my mom bought me some of those cool hippie bellbottom jeans with snaps up the fly instead of a zipper. Some had buttons but mine had snaps. Anyway, the very cute older brother of my best friend was pulling us in a wagon behind his mini bike. We made a U turn and I became airborne. I hit the ground and slid a few long feet on my bottom. He came over and helped me to my feet. That's when I felt the cool autumn air hit my derriere. I gasped and placed my hands strategically over the gaping hole in my jeans and backed all the way home. Fortunately that was only about a BLOCK or so away. Mamma was not too thrilled with the results of my joyride. I was broken hearted that my brand new hippie jeans were ruined. You can't really patch jeans when the WHOLE seat is missing.

LOL! Back in the 70's, we wore hiphuggers with body shirts that snapped 'tween the legs (hated going to the bathroom) and jeans, at that time, DID get low enuff to show our cracks...very uncomfortable for me....and along with that, platform shoes were "IN".....so the pants legs were extra long to accomodate the height of the platforms.....ergo, only the very bottom of the platform shoes showed when standing or sitting....and since the platform heels were tapered to the sole of the shoe, the soles were usually very tiny, if the platforms were especially high.....one day, a guy caught sight of the soles of my platforms and was totally "freaked" over how "tiny" my feet appeared to be....I cracked up....but didn't have the heart to tell him...

I am 32 years old and have two children. While I can wear low-rise (and it's a good thing I can, because it's damn near impossible to find anything else when looking for a pair of jeans these days), I always feel like little girls are looking at me the same way I used to look at my mother when she tried to wear stirrup pants and Venezia sweaters when I was in junior high. Just because you can wear something doesn't mean you SHOULD.

My husband looks at me laciviously when I wear them, though, and that's always a good thing...

Trust me....that last pic was nottttt good.....Besides the extra-full "moon" in broad daylight, what izzit with this need to show their thongs??? Are they trying to compete with the idiots that wear oversized pants with their undie-covered butt hanging out and the crotches pulled down to their knees??? I hafta run for cover everytime I see either one of 'em, cause I'm ROFLMAO on the spot! (wonders if they can spell ridiculous)
