I saw this flick last night. The most violent movie I've ever seen, hands down. A little more and it would have gotten an NC-17 rating for sure.

That being said -- brilliant, absolutely brilliant. For those of you who can stomach gratuitous violence for artistic purposes, see this movie. For those who have seen it, WHAT AN ENDING!

PS -- Lucy Lieu I love you.

My friend Jerry, who absolutely loves violence, said it sucked.

Some critics give it high ratings and others are giving it horrible ratings. It's stated that Tarentino was filling his ego by making this movie. I have no idea. A friend of mine saw it friday night and said they were dissapointed. He said limbs were flying everywhere. He claimed it was made artsy crafsy

I saw it on Friday night and I thought it was good. It was extremely violent though. There were a few times I had to look away but hey it was Quentin Terentino and it was to be expected. When does the next chapter come out?

    Jade,

I believe Vol. 2 will be released early next year. I believe all the original intent was to release one movie but it simply was too long. Some people are aggrevated about that -- the fact they will have to pay double to see the whole thing. Idiots.

    Bradley

PS -- Damn. You're cute too.

Bradley, I love Tarantino!!! Reservoir Dogs is still my favorite. He's one of those people who likes to push people's buttons which is great! I'll see it when it comes out on video.

PS Accept it. We're all cute!

This movie is @#!$ing brilliant! What makes it artsy craftsy, & what a lot of people may not get, is that this movie owes a huge debt to clint eastwood spaghetti westerns & japanese martial arts films, especially the "Street fighter" series starring Sonny Chiba, who also appears in this film. They were the first movies to garner an x rating just for violence. They rock!!!! And Tarantino does both these genres justice, combining both perfectly, down to the tongu in cheek editing of "the bride"'s name, making her "the woman with no name" just like Clint was the man w/ no name in the spaghetti westerns. Teh great thing about Tarantino is he does'nt have high-falutin' ideas, if a movie is entertaining, it's good, whether or not it's "artsy fartsy" or has lot's of explosions, he takes equally from both with no distinction as to whether one genre is better than the other.

Quentin Terentino movies, thus far, to me:

I saw Pulp Fiction, and it was one of the WORST movies I ever saw. (my opinion)

Second: Natural Born Killers (I asked for my money back: got it), not a Terentino movie but could have been. I hated that movie, it was stoopid! (Oliver Stone)

Oh well.....'not my cup of tea' (Sal Mineo)
