I love quen!
My fav. movie of his is Jackie Brown... simply brilliant! Chicks With Guns.... so awesome! Where the hell does he come up with this shit?
"I don't know what I'd do without my A-K.... RAT A TAT TAT TAT!!!"... Just brilliant!
Of course, he sucks big time as an actor. I simply cannot look at him in any movie... remember that vampire movie... what the hell was it? AAARGH! Anyhoo, it was horrible..
I am very much looking forward to seeing his latest movie. The second part is coming out in January!
Quenton has a weird view on society, and presents things so interesting... like in Robo-cop, when they used to have those sick advertisments.... again, Brilliant!
Ever see four rooms? Loved it... the dead hooker in between the matresses. Hilarious!

Saw the flick Friday night and I'm still wondering if I liked it or not. I loved the bleeping out of the Bride's name and got the whole western meets eastern 7 Samari thing, however I did miss the typical Terentino macabre conversations. It seemed as if he replaced the conversations with g ratuitous violence. The soundtrack sounds very typical and may be a must have. The ending was slightly predictable and I have to see part II. This really isn't a MUST see on the big screen, but I did enjoy the audience here in NYC react to the film. Uma & Daryl look great and there are a few one classic liners....................silly rabbit

I will go see it just for the fact that Lucy Liu is in it. That's it.

I really like Quentin Tarantino's films, especially "Pulp Fiction" and "Jackie Brown." I thought "Kill Bill Vol. 1" was not well done. Perhaps it will seem better as a complete film once vol. 2 comes out and it can be viewed as an entire complete movie, but other than that, it was obvious they drew out scenes to make it last long enough, which made it drag for me. I also thought the overly long cartoon sequence blew, and would have been better if it had been actually filmed, but then they wouldn't have gotten the crucial R rating needed to make their money back. All the acting was good. As to the violence, I wasn't surprised by anything shown. It wasn't remotely as violent as, say, Peckinpah's "The Wild Bunch", but then I see a lot of movies so maybe I'm just jaded. LOL.
I thought this film was a yawner if you were looking for a violent action extravaganza or a snappy Tarantino film, but to each his own. You like what you like. Some of the critics love it and think it's brilliant. Some of them feel like I do. I was excited to see this movie. I won't be going to see Vol. 2.

I am a martial artist, and I want to see the film for the fight scenes that are in it. Plus, I met a few of the main actors in this movie, and that makes it more interesting.

Saw it last night. Loved the seamless blending of extreme violence and flat-out funny dialogue. Not Tarantino's best, but certainly better than most of what's out there. Go see it now, you'll thank me later.

We just saw this last night. I thought it was pretty good, but not outstanding. Definitely the most violent movie I've ever seen, but the gore was a bit comical which made it easier to watch. My wife had to close her eyes during the huge fight scene near the end.

I thought it was brilliant, but it's supposed to be a B movie....that's the whole point. Also, the whole No-name woman thing is hilarious (the bleeping of the name like Blondie in The G, B and the U) ....but I could tell that a lot of people didn't get it.
Everyone I went with loved it, but the theatre was about 60-40 in favor of it. The 60 percent loved it, and the other 40 were confused and disappointed.
I thought it was great, from the animation to the story. It is just a revenge flick, but it's so cool, it really doesn't need a ton of substance. It reminded me of those great martial arts movies that you buy at the flea market, except it had Tarantino and a 65 million budget.
Also, cutting it into two parts makes sense to me...it was so instense, three hours of it would have been too much.
Bitchin flick.

I definitely thought it was his worst movie. The only redeeming value is getting to see the 5,6,7,8's play in the restaurant. I was never into martial art b movies or spaghetti westerns, so maybe that's why I didn't like it.
