Matthew 7:7 Jesus says: Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
According to Matthew 7:7 Jesus called us humans... evil.
We are told to give good gifts to our children . We are there to care for our children as infants, provide them food, shelter, medical attention, educate them, help them financially, and try to help them in any way because we love them.
Throughout history, humans have prayed for good health, employment, the end of poverty, the end of human suffering, the end of wars, the cure for cancer, the end of earthquakes...they go unanswered!
If this scripture is really the saying of Jesus, where is the evidence? Shouldn't this one scripture prove there is a God by his actions?
