You know, I'm starting to think that the increased degree of decline in California shouldn't be all that surprising...
For many years asking publishers to change congregations and go to their territory was considered "anathema"; one of the most difficult tasks to accomplish. The way and efficiency of this program is really scary, it is almost a "Jim Jones" effect; people complied without much of a peep.
Bumped to support another thread about mysterious elders meetings, plan is in full force right now with a lost of discontent and complaints from the brothers.
It seems like pretty soon, in some pricey areas there is going to be a lot of Church space for sale.
What do you mean Hecce by...
'a lot of Church space for sale?'
Are you saying Kingdom Halls in Southern California will be up for sale? And what county are you talking about...Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Diego?
Hecce, can you please provide more specific details?
Thanks!
Sorry, I can't be more specific; just to verify that it is happening I am quoting from the "Elders" thread:
The relocation of publishers and the reallocating of "servants" is in full swing here in California. It's got the older ones in a full panic but they just try to pass it off as, 'jehovah knows best'! At least 17 congregations in the greater San Jose, CA area dissolved! I'm waiting and hoping that this will come back to bite the wt in the ass!
The amazing decrease is surely a sign of jehober's blessing! lol lol
just saying!
Anything that makes it harder for people to stay jws and also new people to become jws must be good
