There's nothing to get over. You are one of the most pompous windbags I've ever known. Every now and then, when you start talking about other people's stupidity and foolish speech, I get the urge to yank you back to reality with a little quote or two of yours from the past, a reminder of who really doesn't know when to shut up.

Of course, it doesn't stop you from making your empty noise. But it does make clear to you and to all here, what you are.

Which reality are you speaking of, Bobby? The reality that the end is coming in 1997? Or the reality that the end is coming in 1998? Or do you mean when you proved that the end would come in 1999? Perhaps you mean the reality of the Year 2000 computer bug... remember how you laughed and mocked us all, waiting for us to be destroyed by the reality of it? Man, that was one real bug, wasn't it.

Or do you mean the reality of your swearing to give up and admit you and the WBTS are wrong if the end doesn't come before 2001? Yeah, that boastful promise was real, all right.

Of course, the only reality you're aware of is when another of your dated fantasies gets shot down by the passage of time. But at least you're getting the occasional touch, that way.

The reality is that this system is going down. Just because it didn't blow up last year, or the year before that, or the year before that, doesn't mean that it ain't going down. It is foolish in the extreme for you people to reason so. I posted several links to various essays, written by people who probably know nothing about the Watchtower or could care less about what the Bible foretells, yet they give sober-minded reasons why it is not at all unthinkable that the system is going to crash very soon. Of course no one can predict the precise day and hour. Christ said as much, didn't he? But, the facts are that the present system is headed for a huge crack-up in the near term, even as the Scriptures and the Watchtower Society have said all along. And unless you don't eat or are self-sufficient somehow, or have an interglactci escape pod or something of that nature, you will be impacted in a way that you cannot imagine, or are unwilling to even contemplate at the moment. So, that's reality. The link I posted to on the "WHY THE DOLLAR IS DOOMED" post pointed out how certain policy shapers in Russia are discussing how to preceed AFTER the inevitable crash of the dollar. So, this is really happening. Thinking people are assessing the seriousness of the situation confronting the world at this very moment. That's the reality I'm talking about. It has nothing to do with the carnival sideshow that you and other reality-adverse apostates would like to make of my posts. For the moment you may keep reality at bay by various means and trickery of your choosing; but at some point it is something that you will no longer be able to ridicule with impunity. Of COURSE "this" system is going down, you nitwit! ALL systems go down, sooner or later. Anyone who knows anything about history knows that. Your fatal flaw in your massively windbagging rants is summed up in these two problems:

1) WHEN it is going down and
2) WHY it will go down.

So far, you failed on both counts. "Jehovah" had nothing to do with ANY world power "going down" according to the Bible, so only a crackpot would would say that he would have anything to do with the current world power (and its dependent "systems") going down. That deals with the "why" part. And as far as the "when," it will "go down", well, I think there have been ample evidence produced that you are clueless about that, too. Every year you predict. Every year you fail. Why would "Jehovah" use such a hopeless loser as you to spread his word and his plans, YK? What prophet in the Bible was as worthless a prophet as you? Can you name one? Just any one will do. Just one. You need some credibility here, so just name one. One, even.

Of course, you are pulling our chains and love the chum you toss out, don't you? The problem is, you accomplish nothing except to salve your own pitiful ego. I'm not sure which is more pathetic: your rants or the attention you crave and get from them.
