Having looked at all the stunts he puts himself through, my JW beliefs come into play and I truly think he might be possessed by a demon that gets pleasure out of torturing the poor idiot.
Would love to read your thoughts on this issue.
I think this guy is a fool. What is the point? I have not heard one person, one news account praising him or thinking this was cool.
If it was publicity he was after, there is much he could have done instead.
This is just plain stupid. He's got no demon after him! I'd like to suggest his next "magician" stunt. Go to Brooklyn Bethel, get on top of the sign, and make the place disappear.
The story I heard was he wanted to set a new worlds record for living in a cage, until he found out the record was something like 2 years!!! I have seen this guy about a year ago on A&E doing illusionists tricks and thought then he was a bit of a flake then. Another person that doesn't know when their 15 minutes of fame is up.

What a media circus it was, I watched it last night, and I think this guy thinks he is Jesus or something! I am prity appalled by it. People are starving out of no choice, and he did it for attention, there has to be something wrong with that. I hope he suffers from side affects as it wasn't clever but plain stupid and he deserves nothing for doing it. Sidney

starves himself for 44 days for the art of magic or Jesus Christ starves himself in the
wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights to gain status as a religious leader?

If he wants to do a real feat of magic, he should lock himself up in his plastic cage with one of Siegfried & Roy's tigers, and let's see who goes 40+ days without eating then!
