Yeah, I get "save your soul" and "praise jesus" chain letters all the time. Somehow it doesn't bother me as much as when the cargroup shows up during Saturday service.

My wife used to get messages like this all the time from a very religious friend..... you're right: GAG.

I particularly love the Jesus emails that try to guilt you into forwarding it on; the ones that say, "Every day we forward jokes and similar emails without thinking twice; yet when we get emails of a spiritual nature, we often hesitate before sending them."

Well, no hesitation here; I delete them immediately!

yeahp, I get those religious chain emails all the time too. But, if it wasn't for them I'd get virtually no email at all so what's a loser to do?

Keep in mind that most people who forward chain letters never use the "bcc" function, which means that if you do forward it, your email address will be visible to everyone who receives it, and that can amount to hundreds, if not thousands of people. Often times, spammers will "harvest" these email addresses for their own commercial purposes, which will then put you on another sucker's list for more spam. Before you know it, your mailbox will be so full of spam that you will have trouble sorting out the correspondence you actually want to read. I've known several people who have had to either change their email address or install a powerful spam filter because of this.

Chain letters and mass mailings are a right pain.

Almost as bad as the 'fake virus' warnings telling you to delete some important system file. People send them on thinking they are helping ... I love it when novices fresh on the net start sending them to IT professionals or seasons 'net users (and you have to explain "it's no real!" LOL)

I'd send a sweet note back to your friend, something like: "dear friend, I sent it to everyone I know!!!!"

    Then I'd copy the following:

ALLAH still sits on the throne. Each of you is going through a tough
time right now but ALLAH is getting ready to bless you in a way that only
    He can. Keep the faith.

My instructions were to pick four people that I
wanted ALLAH to bless, and I picked you. Please pass
this to at least four people you want to be blessed
and a copy back to me.

This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the
best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot
of rewards. Let's continue to pray for one another.
    Here is the prayer:

"Father, I ask you to bless my friends,
relatives and email buddies reading this
right now. Show them a new revelation of your love
and power. Holy Spirit, I ask you to minister to
their spirit at this very moment. Where there is
pain, give them your peace and mercy. Where there is
self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through
your grace. Bless their homes, families, finances,
their goings and their comings. In MUHAMMED'S precious
    name.
    Amen."

    That'd work!
