Cheapo me would by All at 2.99/bottle every time out, but my wife will scour the coupon ads for Tide, Cheer, or some other more expensive brand. I do the laundry here almost exclusively, including hanging it up outdoors.

To add: I also fold all laundry except the whites like t-shirts. I am not good at t's. I do fold towels, etc. Years ago, my wife banned me from folding and hanging, saying that the quality of my work was not good enough. However, in time she began to just accpet the fact she was getting help with such chores, and to take whatever help she could get. And I did try to take the time to do things better, so she's apparently not totally embarassed anymore when people see our wash on the line.

Put me down as a lover of the big jugs of liquid as well. I'm not really into the brands; just attract me with flashy packaging at a sale price (I love a bargain). But the new modern no spill mouth on these jugs ~ ya gotta love an idea that works! Simply marvelous.

Well you'd love the new 99 cent store we got in our town. You can buy no name laundry soap by the 55 gallon drum there for 99 cents! ( I came home with a shitload of stuff!)

lol, only a man. Well, actually, they probably get a few crazy cat ladies buying the no-name soap by the shitload, lol.
....but now that I think about it, wouldn't it be cool to have a 55 gallon drum with a fluids pump right next to the washer?

out (not a guy, does most of the laundry here, and used to buy Surf for the fresh smell until all messed with it. Now I buy anything on sale.)

I'll bet you went to the grocery store a couple of times and spent $200 and came back with nothing but junk food so now you don't have to go grocery shopping either !!
