My family considers me weak and any of the "friends" that even bother to think of me, think of me as weak. Some of the elders that I have spoken to about my "doubts" consider me a threat with leanings toward evil.
I am healing nicely now and the last meeting with the elders raised no guiltiness or shame only verification that I am heading in the right direction. It is so nice to be free.
They definitly view me as "C" :Apostate trash.
As the good book says " You will learn the Truth; and the Truth will set you free". Well, I am free....
There is nothing they can do to me once I became independent from them, and I do not care what they think or do.
Fortunately we live in a free country where we can make a choice... and all walks of life and beliefs can coexist. ( JWs have not realized that yet)

Honestly I dont know what my family thinks of me, probably all of the above. (A.) Weak, led to (B.) Misled, which turned me into (C.) Evil.
Obviously it would be great if they saw the truth about the org and why I left it but thats not gonna happen.
I'm beyond the point where their view of me counts for anything.

I think the more you open up your mouth, the less you're seen as an A or a B and more of a C
For instance, all the JW's I see around town constantly talk to me whenever they see me, and they always give me JWisms like "Why did you leave the truth?" and "You know the world has nothing to offer." and "The brothers are going to fill your need for friendship since after your father's death."
My answers are always "I left because It isn't, and they have a tendancy to hide their past.", "You have little else to offer other than feigned friendship." and "I have a need for non-conditional friends right now, so I don't need the 'brothers'."
Word has since gotten out that I've been mislead by the "world", and since I made those comments, I've had a death threat against me, people ignoring me at grocery stores, at the hospital where my dad was in a coma and even at his funeral.
And yes, Goph, word's gotten around too that you're "C", evil. I laughed right in their face when I heard them say that.
