It would depend on what truth it was. If it was 7 days to live, yes I'd want to know cuz I'd quit my job and spend every minute enjoying my girl.

I believe a lot of people do not want to know the truth about the "truth". They prefer to bury their heads in the sand than THINK! Millions of JW's either have no clue or are purposely avoiding dealing with the truth vs. the lie.

Some persons pride themselves in ALWAYS being honest, in always telling the truth. But if a person was very, very ill and was no doubt going to die within a year, yet you were afraid to tell them the whole truth, for various reasons, would you feel compelled to tell that person everything that you know?
