I loved your story! I was laughing all the way through.
Their writing really is bad. They would be lucky to get a D in a high school English class. What especially irritates me is their lack of references or page numbers for a quote if they give a reference. There is no way that you can confirm the validity of what they are saying.
I think the last good writer they had was Ray Franz.
