tinkerbell82 if you do ever find that paper I would love to read it -- intelligence/smartness/knowledge they all fascinate me too --- I used to get bored in the watchtower and do integral calculus in my head just for the fun of it - does not make me intelligent --just good at mathematics

Most internet-based or self-scoring IQ tests are a joke.
Intelligence is different from knowledge. I'd say intelligence allows you to increase your knowledge more quickly. But high intelligence doesn't mean you are automatically very knowledgeable (and vice versa). Maybe that's what you meant by your cup analogy.
