Personally I don't do well with numbers nor do I like to work with numbers. Which I was surprised.

Ewwwwww, Doc! I went there and tried it, but so many of the questions and categories are timed and I am ADD and don't think in a focused enuff manner to take that sort of test....it's as though the test is based on how FAST you can come up with the answers, cause they seem to be simple enough questions.

I try to use my gifts to the fullest...but there are a lot of times I would have swapped it for an 115 IQ, a few more freinds, a little less uncertanity and a feeling that I fit in. Knowing the right answer in class gets you the same look from others as if you had just foamed at the mouth, I've found.

I measured 143 -- but I have been high IQ since I was first measured at the age of 8 -- mind you I became aJW so I doubt the figure --how can an intelligent person get brainwashed into becoming a JW

i did my high school senior thesis on methods of measuring IQ. i've been interested in it ever since i was tested myself at age seven. In my opinion, not to rain on anyone's parade, but IQ tests are bunk. Plus, as i understand it, your score doesn't tell you how intelligent you are in the way you might think. if you think of your brain as a measuring cup, an IQ test will tell you how big a measuring cup you've got, but it's up to you to fill it or not as you choose. i wish i could find the paper i wrote on the subject, i put a lot of effort into it but damned if i can figure out where i packed it. :\

I'm dummer than a damn stick many times, but would still prefer my brain and reasoning over the average smart guy. I'd take common sense over book knowledge anyday.

LOL@rem & Gumby! It's pretty common knowledge that people with high IQ's are lacking in common sense....average DOES have it's perks....
