    Hi everyone:

This Anointed One was never disfellowshipped or excommunicated, and some of the shocking facts he exposes about the Watchtower, are truely worth the read. He totally explodes Watchtower dates, and theology. Elders who used the congregations for financial gain. The well stocked (booze) cabinets of Watchtower corporate, while brothers and sisters were going hungry. The issue of 607 gets totally wiped out. Soap businesses started. Diamond businesses started. Very expensive automobiles purchased, so expensive that just the wheels would pay for a pioneers expenses for a whole year.---and much --much more.

He exposes why the name (Jehovah's Witnesses is (not) approved by God, and shows you where to look in the New World Translation to prove it. Every topic is backed up by scripture reference. I think you will really enjoy this book. Go here:

Must be the worst crap I ever did read. Be the theological discussions as they are, but the "experiences" he tells - if someone believes that really took place, it tells way more about the reader than about the alleged happenings.

I am not here to defend anything, but let fiction be fiction.

Strikes me as a work of fiction, large pinch of salt needed!!

And if his understanding is right there are 144000 messiahs according to JW belief. Since when??

Scanned this work last night. As to the in-fighting among dubs I have seen many similar things happen in the congregations over the years. As to his theological diatribe, can't buy much of it. All in all it seems that the real purpose of his writings is to elevate his own position as an important one. Didn't count the number of "I's" and "I've done", but I came away thinking that the fellow, however well meaning he is, was on a "ME" trip.

Just my non-biblical scholarly opinion, worth perhaps only one lepta.

Voyager: It is a long account. And some parts of it have a "Walter Mitty" quality about it. However, that being said, if it is fiction it is brilliant. It is obviously written by someone who has had long experience in the Watchtower Society. So many of the things he relates are exactly "on the mark." The infighting, gossip and intrique in the congregations are accurately portrayed. He has captured the agony and distress of someone who had been in the organization for a long time and wrestled with the issues that bothered many of us during those same years. As for the critiscm of the too many "I"s.... What would anyone expect out of the autobiographical sketch of a person's life? Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Voyager.

    Mizpah:

Thanks for the kind words. I was a bit surprized at some of the things written in those pages also, but when it came to exposing the Watchtower, I thought he did a pretty good job. I think he could have left out all that (messiah) stuff. But a pretty good read. Thanks and keep up the good work.---Voyager.
