I love the "Kingdom realities" bit they've been throwing around lately as well. They make the fake, real and the real, fake. What an obnoxious religion.

Hey I have a question for you. If we chopped them like that do you think it would still cause the complications?
Hi Valis. I don't know really but I would have thought any attempt to make the KMs freely available online would attract WT sharks.
They tracked down Stephanus eventually and he had to close down the provision.
I agree with you that making the KMs freely available to view online would be a good idea, though for now your restricted but kind provision seems the best bet.
Oh, and the phrase that gets up my nose a lot lately is 'buying out the time' - it seems to be the current WT favourite.
I notice as well the demonising of computers and the Internet every chance they get.
The main message here is 'spiritual people don't do anything except attend meetings, go out in field service and study' otherwise you are letting the world distract you, and you'll die at Armageddon.

Let's isolate the towerspeak.
"Prove Yourselves Ready"...great prophecy...conclusion of this system of things...mundane concerns...outbreak of the great tribulation...heed Jesus' admonition...spiritual pitfalls...necessities of life...danger of losing our focus...make it your aim to attend every meeting...become a snare...spiritual pursuits...buy out the time...How grateful we can be...Jehovah's organization...spiritual instruction...take full advantage of these provisions...
Same old phrases & buzzwords they've been hammering the dubs with ad infinitum. But JW's will assure you that nobody tells them what to think. Right...what else can you do but chant along with them when you hear this crap over and over and over and over.

Dear WT God of the moment,
Was ready for over twenty two years. You did not call. Our records indicate a two thousand year gap in your promised payment plan. Please be aware that we have reported you to the applicable credit bureaus. We will be taking further collection actions via our legal branch.
Rot in hell, you liar,

The KM is the most annoying of all the WT material; and that is saying something!
It is stripped down to just the irritating and pushy "counsel" to get out in service more more more. Anything that takes you away from service is bad bad bad. It is such a simple formula. Come to think of it, I can't think of any KM, or Kingdom MINISTRY, that discusses caring for widows and orphans; or how to organize for charitable works, which the WT says is of importance. No books to be placed in those activities, I guess.
The constant references to not taking our work too seriously, (they don't phrase it that way, they call it being over anxious. If you are out of work and starving, I think you will probably be pretty anxious, don't you?) this takes it's toll. I have heard lately experiences (assembly day) of people who have committed to getting to assemblies at the cost of their jobs, only to be saved at the last minute by another co-worker who will sub for them.
I personally know someone who had a good job with the school system, as a janitor of course, but he had good wages, and benefits. Trouble is he had some nights, which took him from those "always something new" theocratic school and service meetings. He quit, and today he has a TERRIBLE job filling candy machines. I know he is the stupid one, but don't they get what this is doing to the rank and file???
One thing is reassuring: even when we out here in the thick of it lose our jobs, the meals are always on time, and the expense checks are regular at Bethel.
Hey you at Bethel: GET A REAL JOB FOR ONCE, AND JOIN THE REAL WORLD.
