Whats your oppinion on gambling? Do you think its wrong? Or more specifically, is it wrong to have a bet with someone over who's going to make it to be a jedi first, especially when the bet involves large amounts of beer for the winner? Or what about if because of a technicality it means that there would now be no way for you to lose, would it be wronge to be jumping up and down celebrating because of all the beer that you'll be getting?

As long as gambling doesn't become an obsession, I don't see anything wrong with it.
When I go to a casino, I go there to have fun. I walk in with a roll of quarters for the slot machines. Inevitably, I will be down to 2 or 3 quarters and win my original roll back. At that point, I take my winnings (in actuality, I've broken even) and walk out.
People who gamble with dreams of becoming instantly rich should examine their motives.

While being a dub, I never gambled but today I might spend 2 or 3 dollars a week in gambling. I won $67 last week. . It's not wrong, unless it becomes excessive. Everytime I go to a convenience store, people in front of me buy so many lottery tickets. 99% of people seem to gamble.

Gambling is ok- especially if large amounts of alcohol are involved.
The problem is that some people will try to cheat and gloat over a win that is not really an honest one...
we should learn by example- when others in a similar situation were near to jedi they posted quietly and did'nt gloat .
There is also the matter of bribes of rides on motorbikes that make the other poster feel unable to retaliate fully....
I think the stakes should be raised....are you up for it? or are you chicken????!!!

Isn't the lottery just a stupid people tax?

I pay into that stupid people tax all the time. Why not? It's cheaper than coffee right?

My B/F took me to a casino last night..it was my first time. On the 2nd pull I won 25.00. I had won over 200.00 but played down to 120.00 and cut my losses. He lost 40.00 oh well, I guess it was beginners luck.
