The current Awake (Dec. 8) is about Taxes!

It seems to go to special pains to say that you MUST pay your taxes no matter

how unfair they are.

I would assume that this article was approved for publication because the $68 MILLION

DOLLAR TAX BILL from France is about to be paid - unless they actually score a miracle

and walk away from it.

BUT IF NOT..... this represents an ENORMOUS OPPORTUNITY TO DEFEAT

THE WATCHTOWER!! This article could be devastating if sent to French and

European Union offices , demonstrating a cavalier and grossly hypocritical

attitude towards tax compliance.

Tell me which - I'm ready to call the nearest embassy

Well Met, I've often thought how well you do just THAT. Post upon post.

Why not give it a go and see what results in the attempt of sending the actual article; magazine itself, accompanied with a letter only you can detail re: the deception and corruption? Don't forget to include the lethal policies.

Write the letter and make copies. Send them everywhere.

Is it actually possible that the Society is going to conceal their payment of this tax bill?

Maybe they're embarassed by the loss.

Is it otherwise possible that this article is a product of internal Watchtower factionalism and

that it's a "dig" at some GB members? Similar to some past abuse articles?

Pay, but protest about religious freedom.
Pay and gloat about how they "Paid their due taxes and tributes" while conveniently forgetting to mention how they fought it tooth and nail.
