    Hey nic...great point...

I went for that bullsh**! Can you believe it! Well, yeah, I guess you can.

"Do not let them ?brainwash? you with the Devil?s propaganda" - Spoken like true hypocrites!

"Wisely, then, let God?s Word influence you in selecting a course that will result in your protection and blessing. Make pioneer service, the full-time ministry, with the possibility of Bethel or missionary service your goal." - Been there and done both! Somehow, I did not feel blessed OR protected, particulary from the bruises from my elder ex husband!!

It's just pitiful what they have done to people's lives!

Gee thanks! I am so glad that I will never grow old. The mirrors in my house must be contivances of the Devil. The pains in my back are surely imaginary. I have to wake up from the dream before the big A.

Oops it isn't a dream. I am really old!

I was 22 in 1969. I should have been advised to leave the sorry abusive drunk but NO I was advised to stay with him because the big A was near and he might change. He didn't change and I left only when my son almost died from being choked by the bastard. That was nearly 10 years later. what a waste!

I was 16 in 1969. When I turned 50 this summer, I told my mom that I wasn't supposed to be this old. She didn't know what to say.

So many lives put on hold, without their dreams being realized. So sad. I wonder, what would the average witness say about that? It comes directly from their magazine. I don't know how much more blatent that could be.

Can't believe that they had the nerve to print that. No wonder kids didn't believe in finishing regular high school or getting good grades. No wonder people didn't plan for retirement and instead put more money into the contribution box. No wonder people glanced sideways at brothers and sisters who decided to go to college.
