Ugh, "backmasking" this was one of the dumbest things about 80s' "Satanic Panic". Every time I heard some old holy roller express a phobia over it, I rolled my eyes just a little bit harder. Frankly, I'm amazed I could still see by the time I was 20.
I was relieved when CDs became mainstream, simply because you couldn't play'em backwards and the fear mongers finally had to STFU about it.
