    And your point is?

Local congregations have to have bank accounts to deposit and withdraw from. In these cases, the local KHs chose a credit union instead of a bank. I have used credit unions for decades. Big whoop.

There are some who appreciate the information. And your point is?

My point is that this isn't much of a scandal. This thread was started under "scandals".

    Undercover:

The information I provided you plainly states that Credit Unions are (Democratically Governed). The Watchtower claims to take (no part) in these affairs. Neutral, remember? It is one thing to be customer putting money in a credit union bank. It is totally a different thing to be a (Partner--Member). The information is right there for you to read.

Voyager... just in case you're not aware... "democratic governance" of credit unions has nothing to do with politics or public affairs. It simply means that the officers of the credit union are chosen by its members, just as a corporation's officers are chosen by its stockholders. I don't see anything in the WT's pronouncements that would contradict that.

I do think that the work you do is very vaulable, however, because I think it would be interesting to have a comprehensive database of all public affiliations and activities of the WTS and its congregations. Have you considered creating a website that collates all the information you've found and posted?

    Undercover:

I (slowly) took another look at the information that I posted, and I am going to have to agree with you. I should have put the information on another page. I do apologize to you and the entire forum, please find it in your heart to forgive me for my error. Thanks for helping me out.

Euphemism: Thanks for thinking of my work as important. But Iam going to have to agree with you Sir. I think I came to the wrong conclusion on this one, and I hope that those like yourself and Undercover will continue to help me in my investigations to stay alert, to (facts) and not our opinions.

An apology to the forum: Iam sorry everybody, I messed up on this one, and I hope all of you will forgive my error.------Voyager
