Time zones and people here (page 2)

I used to chat with Drue (siberia) about 3 in the morning, PST. Oh, well, that was when i was restless & up, anyway.

I get along well with Vivamus. While I have my beer in the evening, she puts beer in her cereals in the morning.

Fortunately (and unfortuantely) for me, I sometimes end up with insomnia at any hour of the night so I tend to run into friends to talk to at any hour.

I guess at times like those, it is nice to know people in different time zones.

I don't think timezones are much of an issue.... most of the communication here is done by posting. That is not realtime communication.

I don't think the time zones matter all that much - however, sometimes a thread can get buried a couple of pages back while someone is sleeping....

I think the biggest difference is if you chat with anyone in the chat messengers live. Then you have to be online at the same time. Even in the chat room here, different people will be in there at different times due to the time difference.
