As an amateur psychologist, I recommend not changing you avatar too often as non intimate people on chat boards loose you.

Whe I first changed my avatar from homer to my pic, a few people pm'd to say they hadn't reconised me. So I'm impressed at people who can keep the same one for a while, even if people take the mick out of their combover!!! LOL!
