My intuition says yes. However, I think that we probably have more than just one soul mate, our others who could potentially become our lover. A Soul mate doesn't necessarily have to be a romantic partner either, I can also be a close friend or family member. In a way the entire human race is one big soul mate, as all souls are part of the same oversoul, in the same way that cells form the body. It is only the constant chattering our minds, and our identification with that chattering, which separates us from our soul mates.

I do and I don't believe in Soul Mates. I don't think for every person there is one person that is meant for them and only them. What I do believe is that when you find someone really special and your connection becomes to the point where at times you think as one, then yes, you are as if soulmates.
I also think that is is possible to have more than one in a lifetime. How many times have we heard about wonderful marriages where one dies and the living spouse remarries and finds someone equally special and loved deeply by that one. Unfortunately I also think that for some, they may never find the person to have a special connection even once. Perhaps because of bad choices or bad timing in their life.

I believe in the concept of soul mates . I think it's more about finding someone who can accept you for who and what you are and not someone who thinks they need to change you .
It's very difficult to find but I know it's out there so I keep my eyes open . Still single and looking . I can have some good sex without the type of bonding involved with the soul mate phenomena , any takers??? lol

Well, I will spare you all a how I feel about Thunder ramble Yes, I do believe in soulmates. Thunder and I are so in tume that I will start to ask him and he has already gotten it or did it or knows what I am going to say. LOL I also do that or we know if something is wrong and will call and say hey something goin on? I am sure there is an old thread were I explain this on and on LOL but I am sleepy I haven't slept since Monday LOL

I believe you can have good sex with a lot of people, just depends on how comfortable and confident you are with yourself. I'm a firm believer of this! That part is easy. But, I'm talking about a person that accepts you for who you are and doesn't try to change you. A soul mate would be someone who understands your point of view without trying to change it. They would be with you on the same level and stand by you, but still allow your independence. They would be your strength where you are weak....

I don't really know if there is such a thing as a "soul mate," but if there is, I found it in Witchywoman. From the very first time we met, I just had a feeling of being where I was supposed to be. It goes well beyond just being comfortable and is hard to express, but when we are together, I feel complete.
She flies in tomorrow afternoon for a few days. Whether her or me getting back on a plane, it's hard to do. Neither of us wants the other to go. If that would be a soul mate then she's the one.

Well, I called my former partner my soulmate. And I still think in many ways we were.
I know my best friend is my soulmate. Fate put us together from birth, and there is no way in hell we will ever be apart. We are friends, confidants, soulmates. Can't really explain it.
