i don't believe in soul mates and i never have. but then again i don't believe in destiny or the existence of "souls". i think there are lots of people out there who could be equally "right" for any given person....that's a comforting notion, in my opinion.

i don't know that i believe in romantic soulmates. if you'd have asked me a couple years ago, i probably would've said yes, but time has jaded me somewhat. however, i do believe in soulmates are far as family and friends. my sister and joannadandy are two people i would definitely consider soulmates in that sense, with not interested close behind. there's nothing quite like a friendship of that depth.

I didn't used to believe in Soul Mates. Then I found mine.

It is truely an awesome experience to love someone so deeply and know they love you that way in return.

Don't believe in it.

Not even sure if the term means the same thing to every one.

If it means someone you feel comfortable with and also love and respect along with being able to share openly and honestly everything than that special someone died years ago. Baron.... boy if your out there..... go get him boy...get that rabbit.

My ex sure thought she had found hers! She walked away from 14plus years of marriage, a 13 year old daughter, and since she was raised a JW, all the people she knew! Three months later the FBI came and hauled the love of her life off to jail where he sits almost six years later! She remarried and has two step children. And I finally get to keep all the money I earn. That guy did me a BIG favor...so let's hear it for soul-mates!

On a less,(much less) sarcastic note, I have found ladies that are very easy to be with and who seem to be on the same wavelenght, but for some reason the timing wasn't right, (or they were married) and it just never jelled. I'm not looking for it but I won't discount it either.

Just don't sit around waiting for your soul-mate to ring your doorbell! Get out and meet people! Maverick

I'm much to pragmatic to believe in such a concept. However, I do believe that some couples are much more compatable than others.

I don't believe in just one soul mate. I think that you can have many.. although I refer to them as kindred spirit.

My husband, I refer to him as my "one and only."

I gave up on the idea of soulmates when she left me. I've now adopted the idea of having an "ideal mate". Much more realistic.
