With the newer older books, Ezekiel, Jeremiah Daniel and the old Revelation - big red one and the Babylon the Great - which I still have.. allowed people to think, allowed pubs to dive deep and do proper research - peoples names where added to the "quoted - Today yu cant get an answer if you have a question- from elders or society who do not want any questions sent to Bethels - they feel all questions answered. The QTA today are made up and do not come from pubs unless they are revived from years ago.

I thought that was a bit much ,maybe it was another nail in the coffin as regards my belief in JW religion.

At the time it was written I thought the green book "Yout Will Be Done" was a really good study book,dealing with the king of the North which was then USSR that now doesn`t exist { Union of Soviet Socialist Republic } and the so called Anglo-American World Power,that never really existed anyway looking back now.

That's what's missing these days.

Back in the 60's & 70s, it was all rubbish and foolishness, but at least it was coherent crap. If you suspended belief in reality, you could pretty easily imagine the WTS picture "fitting" world events. The puzzle pieces fit together.

Today, it's just fluffy panda-petting promises and behavior modification guidelines.
