I’ve always found the memorial to just be creepy as hell even when I was in. For the life of me, I don’t know why they invite people to it. It was really nothing more than an identity marker. Look at us we do everything different.
Bloody stupid

This is 15 years I'm out and did not attend. Spoke to a family member and all she did was rave about how nice the hall they rented was, and the women's bathroom was beautiful. And of course who was sitting with who. Nothing spiritual to report.

Yes Easter is on 20th April . Yesterday was Palm Sunday.

Yes, I noticed that Easter is a week later . But both the JW Memorial and the Jewish Passover were this weekend gone . I am not sure how they calculated Easter but bothdubs and Jews followed the “ first full moon after the Spring Equinox “ principle.
We zoomed in and were singularly unimpressed with the talk delivery .
I got a call from a California Central Valley ex-JW who attended. The hall had 30% empty seats, whereas 10 years ago, it was standing-room only.
Last time I went to the memorial it was by accident . I was in the middle of a long car trip and went to a JW family to visit overnight. It was a JW memorial night and I was caught off guard. So they gave me a white shirt and tie to put on . It was very creepy I told them I had to go use the restroom and went to my car and listened to some tunes. When the meeting was over I hung out with my friends and noticed their circuit servant was there and people were all around him like a celebrity . I just gave him a dirty look and waited in the parking lot. That was like 20 years ago. It's all bull shit to me now!

How do you partake when attending via Zoom?
Jensus, supply your own matzoh and wine. Pass it to everyone in the family. Reject it. Then, when the memorial is over, put cheese on the cracker and enjoy it with the wine.
