Well, a variety of interests. Just whatever catches my fancy: politics (!), Buddhism for a little while,

dating evolution, reading, and just enjoying life!

Thanks for reminding me how hard it was to be a JW! I've been gone for almost three years and have finally settled into a life of my own. Viva la differance!!

I haven't really replaced it with anything. Part of me knows I should but it seems there is so much hypocracy in all religions so I don't feel I have any where else to go either. Right now I am appreciating the time to have to myself that used to be for meetings and service.

Spirituality. Leaving the witnesses is a great opportunity to explore your own thoughts and feelings and to really find out what you believe instead of being too busy to think.

I have replaced it with knowing ME!!!! I have a relationship with MY GOD( maybe no one elses on here ) But I believe in Jesus. I find great comfort in knowing I wasnt that self rightous woman I thought I was in the WT.. I know I "fluff" up many, many, times you know why??? because I am fleshly!!! I will never be perfect. But I dont expect to .I try to do right but as some one else said before me "the good that I wish I do not do -but the bad that I do not wish is what I practice...But God knows me & forgives...

I believe my thoughts are my prayers...I try not to dwell or think about things that I wouldn't actually want to happen in my life. I no longer believe in God or the Bible...not sure what I believe...life is a constant journey that I try to appreciate one day at a time.

Religion is ripe with effort. You must do this, thus, and so in order to fit in some gods' narrow acceptance of you. You spend much time remembering scriptures written thousands of years ago, and dreaming about future rewards for all your efforts. You spend the majority of time in your mind up to your neck in beliefs, ideas, concepts and interpretations. You miss out on the only place life exists -- this moment.

I have replaced religion with being present, here and now. It freely and effortlessly teaches me more about God, than anything else ever has.....and I don't have to have belief or faith in anything....just be.

Nothing that I am aware of. I just try to enjoy life the best I can. I don't worship anything but have many questions about the universe and our existance and the reason for it all. There will never be answers.
