If they "never bothered anyone", does that mean they quit going door-to-door?

How does he know if they never bothered anyone.Just because they seem like nice people , doesn't mean they are. I would like to know what the motive is, then I will decide if I feel sorry for them.

This article makes them seem like they were not that squeaky clean. Investigators search for motive in deaths of mother, 2 sons
Staff Report
Last update: 4:25 p.m. Dec. 2, 2003ORANGE CITY -- Volusia County sheriff's deputies are searching for a motive today in the deaths of a mother and her two sons, who bodies were found in their Biscayne Drive home near Orange City Monday night.
Carmen Negron, 63, and her sons, Gilberto Vergara-Negron, 28, and Yamir Orlando Vergara-Negron, 26, were found by church members in the Breezewood Park subdivision home after 7 p.m., said Sheriff's Capt. Dave Hudson.

Yamir Orlando Vergara-NegronThe Volusia County Medical Examiner began autopsies on the bodies this morning but investigators have yet to say how three family members died.
There were signs of a struggle in the home, Hudson said.
A 1995 white Honda Civic DX four-door registered to Carmen and Gilberto Vegara-Negron, which investigators had been searching for since Monday, was found abandoned today near an Orlando police station.
A Sheriff's Office spokesman said today that deputies had been called to the house three times since 1999. The first was a 911 call in November 1999; the second was an assault and battery call in March 2001; and last was a suspicious person call in April 2001. Victor Hernandez, a church elder at the DeLand Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, said the last time Negron was heard from was 8:30 p.m. Saturday. No one answered calls to the home on Biscayne Drive all day Sunday, Hernandez said."They've been here for a long time. I know the whole family," said Hernandez, adding Negron has been in the area about 10 years.
A man who said he is a cousin of the victims spoke outside the home.
"This is the kind of stuff you don't think about happening in Orange City, just in bigger cities," said Hector Rivera, 19. "Everybody is freaked out about it."
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Volusia and Flagler Counties, (888) 277-TIPS (8477).

Yeah...it would have been so "horrible" if the Manson family had been murdered

The article said there had been an assault reported there. Their photos look more like mugshots of drug dealers.

I have to admit their photos are a little odd. Normally if someone had been murdered I would have expected to see a nice photo of them, you know smiling at a family outing or something. Those ones look like something pulled out of the police computer.
And I think you're right about the neighbour. Very odd thing for a non-witness to say. And trust the local JW to have to comment on how great they were at serving the
WatchtowerJehovah instead of focusing on whether they helped people etc.-

Gee I hope no one else thought I meant the Manson family. I mean that sure isnt' the first thing that comes to mind when I think of family.
The photo's are strange they look like passport photos or worse Drivers license photos.
