Not only do they teach that all non-JWs -- 99.9 percent of humanity including infants -- will be ruthlessly hunted down and exterminated, so will maybe half of their own number who malinger, mssing meetings showing little to no `field service." The ``kicker" is their current belief that any unbeliever-- except for the egregiously evil who go straight to Gehenna -- who dies pre-Armageddon will likely be resurrected, whereas had he/she the misfortune to have stayed alive until the Big A would have to be killed off.

But the canned answer which they provide for public consumption is yet another evidence of their incapacity for honesty.... ``theocratic war strategy," you understand.

What's not spelled out here is the societys definition of exactly what that "stand" is... IMHO, this is the most dispicable form of double speak and hypocrisy.... Saying one thing while teaching/enforcing something entirely different.

And yet, there is just enough "fuzziness" that you can't quite call them on it.... So, what do they "really" believe?????

Sorry, Jim, but he didn't make allowance for the likes of you and me. He went on and engaged in the judgment that the Society now pretends it isn't authorized to do.

Yes, the Society does use double-speak, and as Ray Franz, the nephew of Freddie, said, "the Society often teaches two opposing doctrines at the same time." That said, however, there are two other ways to deal with this:

1. Freddie is long dead ... and the current GB and Bethel elite placed that statement on their web site ... so, a JW could argue that it is "New Light" since the days of Dead Fred.

2. When a JW comes to my door, I can play an ignorant member of the Public and show them a print out of the JW Media site, and then let them know how happy their leaders make me feel, that I too can be saved by mere love of truth and righteousness alone, and only Jesus can judge me.

Of course the JW will try to repair this misconception by an ignorant member of the public, ME ... but he/she has no idea of how to deal with this in light of the fact I would be using information from their own current site and applying it positively, agreeing with their leaders teachings ... it is the perfect counter-double-speak ... and may help a JW to start thinking - seriously - hopefully. -

According to the WTS, only JWs in good standing "take a stand for truth and righteousness"... all other religious beliefs are of Babylon the Great. Therefore only JWs will survive Armageddon.

Whoever wrote that statement needs to review their May 1st 2002 Watchtower...

10. Are we personally alert, so that no unrighteousness is found on our lips? For example, can our family members really trust what we say? Can our spiritual brothers and sisters in the congregation do the same? It would be easy to develop the habit of couching one?s words in terms that are technically accurate but misleading.
