Charles Russell re-started the faithful slave
They officially pushed Russell out in 2013
From JWorg. .....
Those faithful Bible Students were true Christian wheat. In 1919, a time of spiritual revival, Jesus selected capable anointed brothers from among them to be the faithful and discreet slave and appointed them over his domestics.
Yes Jesus choose false teaching charlatans and their self devised corrupt doctrines like C T Russell and J Rutherford, the founding leaders of the Watchtower Corporation.
Out of all of the practicing Christians in the world at the time Jesus picked peddling false prophets running their own publishing house. .
Will that may just self willful thinking for those men in their own personal desired for self empowerment.
I think the WTS's heads are assumingly exploiting the public's ignorance of what these men were actually teaching such as Pyramidology and the anti-scriptural date setting of Jesus's own return. (1874,1914)
The WTS's inherent corruption is not that really hard to find with a bit of information and an open mind.
They are certainly demonstrating the "faithful and DISCREET" part of their description! (sarcasm alert)
The level of arrogance is mind blowing for them to say that only the current GB is actually the FDS!
I mean, I don't believe that the society was EVER "chosen by God", but for them to just wipe away the last 100 years of "spiritual leadership" is just preposterous! The current crop of leadership is simply a continuation of the last 120 odd years!
Stuckinarut2 totally agree with you! These new governing body members (who are 50 friggin years old) have some huge egos and guts to say yeah we are the only mouth of Jah and also our "generation" is linked to the original "generation" (by Franz?)...They think we all have no education, we are stupid lambs!

notwithstanding the foregoing, Did Jesus missed when He chosen Frederick Robinson and George Fischer In 1919 ??they split Up....F.ROBINSON IN 1923 and G. FISCHER around 1932
C.T.Russell died in 1916 so missed being appointed as part of the Faithful Slave in 1919.
He proclaimed himself as THE faithful slave but the current GB have tossed him aside as nothing more than a wannabe.
From a theological perspective the founding members of the WTS were self anointed apostates, that inheritance of apostasy against Jesus's own teachings continues on to this day and in reflection is ever more apparent.
The Truth and light professed by the WTS was never inline with strict loyalty to Jehovah and Jesus Christ in preaching the Gospel, the leaders of the WTS were adherent to their own teachings, propagated by their own self proclaimed divination.
I had read in their mags that from 33ce to when the temple was torn down in 70ce, that is when the FDS existed. Then there were no FDS until 1919. If that's the case, then from the book of Jude to Revelations, these books were not inspired even though some of them start off as Peter a bondservant or slave or Jude who also was a slave. These books were written from 70AD and on. When there were no FDS to give them the proper food at the right time???????? You might as well rip those books out of the bible then.
Watch them change the number of the 144,000 since there were no FDS until 1919. More bull crap to come.
